DO NOT EDIT
If so please email us with documentation and samples of your wafer map. We will promptly return either an existing converter, develop a new converter (please allow one week), or return questions to clarify the documentation and samples you send.
We are continually developing converters for map formats as our customers encounter them. The result is that we have to date ~500 format converters available and tested for ALPS. In addition to the library of existing converters we have developed a rapid development capability for new converters. Our customers rest easy in the knowledge that, whatever map format they encounter a format converter will either be immediately available or can be developed with a few days after adequate documentation and samples of the format have been provided.
We believe that the industry should converge on a single map format. We have
therefore supported the SEMI standards activity in this area by initiating
and chairing the Sort Map task force which is responsible for the recently
approved SEMI G81, G84, G85 and E142 standards. Because we believe that map
formats will ultimately converge on this standard we do not charge our customers
for format converters. This has the added benefit that there is no production
time lost while a purchase order is issued.
